last week we got the pictures of the kleinLaut Festival this year, where keep watching project printed live for the visitors. looking back, we remember a beautiful festival full of wunderful music, great art and amazing people.

photoshoot of "eden series" and "initation series"

last weekend keep watching project had the possibility to take photos of the screenprinted "eden series" and "initiation series" with the professional photographer Martin P. Bühler at his studio. as he does photoshoots of artworks in his everyday life for 40 years, we are really happy to update the pictures of the prints in museum quality.

possible approach to complete the (e)utopia project

as the "eden series" and the "initiation series" are nearly finished, browsing around last week resulted in a possible approach to complete the (e)utopia project with a third series called the "atlantician series". combining the aesthetics of the two series, the "atlantician series" will hopefully culminate in an idea of a possible gateway to utopia by leaving reality behind. keep watching for updates on the series.

wastepaper-notebooks

experimenting with stenciled or screenprinted images produces a lot of wastepaper. this offcut material and some experiments are now used to create individual notebooks. completely handmade, every notebook is unique. the sizes and the looks depend on the used offcut material and the ongoing series created in the atelier. 

the notebooks are now for sale at the street art limited in Baden and Taktil in Basel.

böse bücher - commission for Universität Basel

for a ring lecture titled "Böse Bücher" at University Basel keep watching project was asked to design and print their posters. displaying a bookshelf the titles of every lecture were printed in gold letters on the spine of each book.

chan(g/c)e(.../?) - installation at Guck mal Kriens, Kunst 2016

as part of the exhibition Guck mal Kriens, Kunst keep watching project will display the installation chan(g/c)e(.../?) at Kunstraum Teiggi 2.0. the installation thematizes the process of gentrification in this area which is going to be teared off later this year.

this quote from Bob Marley's Trench Town Rock reminds us of the importance of musical culture. to celebrate their 10 year anniversary Nordportal Baden asked keep watching project to create customized bags that display their contribution to music.
